Holmes Fires Back at Williamson

To DaVarryl Williamson,

First of all, I just got out of that Promotional mess you are still in. Second I’m not going to get into a name calling game on here with no one,not my style. Third I’m trying to fight guys that people pay to see,the media have pumped Brock up and the public thinks he’s a good fighter. Not like you were they know you are a “Bum”.

You are another person that I was proud of your pro career because you stuck in there even after having set backs and got a title shot, now you’re running your mouth.I’m still unknown to the boxing world and you have already been explosed of having no skills with a glass chin,us two in a fight together wouldn’t raise a dollar. You help poison the boxing world already when you and Chris Byrd won “Most Boring Heavyweight Title Fight Ever”. Think about that, ever is a long time.

We both can use the name “Touch of Sleep”. I touch people and they go to sleep unlike when you get touched and “You go to sleep”.Once again for the record I will say,“I don’t call anyone out” but if they down talk me I will answer. For you DaVarryl since you are into the calling people out, try Joe Mesi.Cause now he’s down to your level and it was some confusion before when you two fought. When you where flat on your back showing the world your shoe size I thought I saw a 13, but my cousin said he could swear he saw a 12.

Williamson Responds to Holmes

From the Desk of DaVarryl Williamson:

I just finished reading the “press release” sent out by Donnell Holmes calling out Calvin Brock.

Donnell. If you want a fight, have your man Gary Shaw pick up the phone and call Don King. I’m ready, willing and able to take that fight, and once and for all decide who should carry the moniker “Touch of Sleep”.

Some time ago, you stated in an interview that you’d never fight me unless it was for a title. Well, this may not be your title shot, but I’m rated high enough by the WBA & IBF to make it an eliminator.

C’mon Donnell, you want to call out fighters that you know won’t answer, why not trying dialing the phone to someone that is more than ready to answer your call.

Williamson Calling Out Anyone and Everyone

The last few days have been filled with press release after press release announcing that Fighter A wants to call out Fighter B, but it seems as if no one wants to fire back. I see these press releases drifting around the internet, and they certainly make for good fodder, but it always seems to be one-sided, someone gets called out, but no one answers the call.

I want the entire division on notice, I will answer the call. I will take anyone, anywhere, anytime. Time is not on my side, I had a shot a Byrd’s title and it slipped through my fingers, but I liked the taste, and I want another shot. I don’t care if its Rahman, Maskaev, Toney, Lyachovich, Klitshscko, Valuev, Brock, Briggs, Austin, Peter or Ibragimov, just line them up.

I have work to do on Saturday, May 6th, and I’m not taking Mike Mollo lightly, but I also expect to be victorious and in spectacular fashion. Like I said, I had my bite at the apple, and it didn’t work out, but this is the best my arm has felt in quite some time, the right hand is back, it feels like it did when I first laced on a pair of gloves. Anyone who thinks that I am done, “shot” or got old overnight is in for a very rude awakening. I am, without a doubt the most athletic fighter in the division, and no one disputes my power, just ask Wladimir how the right hand feels.

All of your promoters certainly know how to reach Don King, so make the phone call; I promise that I will answer.

Sincerely,
DaVarryl “Touch of Sleep” Williamson, MA
