Taylor Becomes Champion Again

Jermain Taylor temporarily lost his WBA Middleweight Championship last month while the organization investigated a Felix Sturm claim about Taylor’s title not being legitimate. Now the WBA currently lists Taylor as it’s middleweight champion once again, even though attorney Robert Mack’s investigation is still ongoing.

“I’m still in the preliminary stages of the administrative review, but we want to make it clear Jermain Taylor is still the champion,” Mack said. “There is no question about his current status. We want to make it clear Taylor has not been removed as champion.”
