Evander Holyfield: America’s Heavyweight Hope?

At least that’s what promoter Murad Muhammad thinks. Of course he thinks that, he’s promoting Holyfield’s next fight, duh people…

“Evander Holyfield is not the white hope, he is not the black hope, he is the hope of America in bringing the heavyweight titles back to the shores of North America.”

Eh, I wouldn’t go that far just yet Mr. Muhammad.
Holyfield is continuing his quest for a record fifth heavyweight title reign on November 10th when he takes on WBO Lation Heavyweight Champion Fres Oquendo.

Interesting thing to note: The bout will be carried on FOX Sports Net for free as well as on PPV.

Another interesting thing to note: Anyone who orders this bout on PPV even though they can watch it for free on regular cable is an idiot.
