Klitschko Concedes Defeat

Former heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko has conceded defeat in his quest to become the next mayor of Kiev, Ukraine. It was Klitschko’s first bid for public office in his home country. Polls had shown that Klitchsko was drawing 22% of the vote compared to favorite Leonid Chernovetskiy. Reports also said that Klitschko lost a bid for Parliament because his party did not recieve enough votes.
