Mayweather Jr. Says No to Margarito

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has turned down an offer to fight WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito on August 12th and also opted to buy out the remainder of his contract with promoter Bob Arum, allowing him to seek other promotional opportunities. Leonard Ellerbe, a member of Mayweather Jr.‘s camp stated that Mayweather is simply rejecting the fight because of lingering injuries.
